What makes DSM different from other exhibitions in your opinion?
The fact that it takes place on the small island of Donsö, surrounded by a strong shipping tradition, gives the event a unique atmosphere. People arrive not only to do business, but to engage, collaborate, and learn from each other.

What are your expectations for DSM2025
We expect a few good laughs, some honest dialogue, and hopefully the beginning of a few long-term collaborations

What is your best memory from DSM2023?
All good meetings and the dinner, which truly stood out.

What do you find are the opportunities and challenges in the Shipping Industry today?
The shipping industry is going through one of the most transformative periods in its history. The transition to green technology, evolving regulatory frameworks, and global supply chain disruptions all pose significant challenges.

How would you describe DSM in one sentence?
DSM is not just a trade fair – it’s a meeting of minds, set on an island where business feels like community.

And finally, do you prefer a sailboat or a motor boat for recreation, and why so?
A motorboat – no question about it. I actually use my own motorboat to commute to work, so for me it’s not just recreation – it’s part of everyday life. There’s a certain freedom in skipping traffic and starting the day on the water.
