DFS – DSM2025 Silver Sponsor and Logistic Partner

Interview with Carl Forsman, Project Manager, DFS
DFS supports DSM2025 as Silver Sponsor och Logistic Partner. What contributed to make this decision?
DSM has proven to be a valuable platform for connecting with both industry partners and decision-makers.
As a company committed to innovation and sustainable growth within ship supply and logistics, supporting DSM2025 as a Silver Sponsor aligns with our ambition to be visible where the future of shipping is being shaped.
What makes DSM different from other exhibitions in your opinion?
DSM combines a strong regional foundation with an international outlook, attracting the right mix of maritime professionals—from ship owners to suppliers to policy-makers.
The atmosphere is professional yet personal, which makes it particularly effective for building long-term relationships.
What is your best memory from DSM2023?
Many to choose from but probably the gala dinner, always an impressive and joyous occasion.
What are your expectations for DSM2025?
We look forward to deeper discussions around green transition, digitalization, and resilience in maritime logistics.
And of course, to re-connecting with partners old and new. With so many developments in the industry, I expect DSM2025 to be one of the most forward-looking editions yet.
What do you find are the opportunities and challenges in the Shipping Industry today?
Opportunities lie in decarbonization, digital innovation, and improved transparency in global supply chains.
But those same areas also bring challenges, particularly around compliance, investment readiness, and alignment between stakeholders. It’s a complex transition, but also an exciting one.
How would you describe DSM in one sentence?
A truly unique event that offers space for all stakeholders within the maritime industry.
And finally, do you prefer a sail or a motorboat for recreation, and why so?
I enjoy both but, in the end, I would have to go with sailing since it was a big part of my summers as a child.
